CPR Awareness Month

According to OSHA, every year about 10,000 cardiac arrests happen at work in the United States and, according to the American Heart Association, only 5-7% of them survive when CPR is performed.CPR is an emergency procedure that combines chest compressions and artificial ventilation and is performed on someone who has a cardiac arrest.

However, in the U.S, there are an insufficient number of people with a CPR certification in the workplace. In fact, up to 55% of workers can’t get CPR training from their employer. Employers can offer CPR training to their employees by providing life-saving skills to help prepare them for emergencies at all times.

Reliance Safety Consultants and its certified instructors has been providing CPR training for over 14 years to English and Spanish speakers. Being trained in CPR is a wonderful skill, for both employers and employees, which they can utilize in both the work environment and at home.

We will be delighted to train your team. For your safety, half of the instruction will be held online, and for certification matters, the second half will be in-person hands-on to demonstrate compressions and artificial ventilation with a licensed instructor.

We invite you to sign up so we can program your training.

Extraleap is the site where you and your team can find online compliance trainings. We offer a wide variety of courses in safety and HR management.
